What is JKPSC Exam?
Jammu and Kashmir PSC (Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission) or JKPSC KAS Recruitment board is a state-level administrative body to fill vacancies in various posts in the administrative department of Jammu and Kashmir (Group A, B, C, D) Jammu and Kashmir PSC. JKPSC 2022 Selection Process
JKPSC Exam Candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in three steps viz., Prelim, Mains, Interview. The stages of the JKPSC Recruitment 2022 selection process are as follows.

- Stage 2 – JKPSC Main Exam
- Stage 3 – Interview / Personality Test
Stage 1 Prelim Exam: Jammu and Kashmir The first stage of the PSC exam is the prelim exam where the candidate is given two General Study question papers (General Study, aptitude test). Jammu and Kashmir Prelims Exam only qualifying paper. Candidates who pass the Prelims examination are considered eligible for the Jammu and Kashmir Main Examination.
Stage 2 Main Exam: The second stage of the Jammu and Kashmir PSC Exam is the main exam where there are 8 papers in total (7 merit ranking papers and 2 qualifying papers). Candidates will be selected on the basis of cutoff published by the Jammu and Kashmir PSC Recruitment Board. The candidate at the top of the list will be selected for the personality test or interview stage.
Phase 3 Interview: Candidates who have successfully passed the last two stages are eligible for the interview conducted by Jammu and Kashmir PSC Recruitment Board. Interviews are also numbered 250 in total.

Jammu and Kashmir PSC prelims exam objective type paper and two papers for the prelim exam are present. The first paper is on General Studies and the second is Optional Subject. There are 150 marks for the General Studies paper and 300 marks for the Optional Subject.

JKPSC KAS Exam Pattern – Interview
Candidates who will be selected for JKPSC Main Exam will be called for the interview process of the Jammu and Kashmir PSC Exam. The interview round will start on the basis of the present intelligence of the candidates, knowledge of the candidates, and deep knowledge and other subjects. Jammu and Kashmir PSC Interview Round 250 will be the test. The final selection process of Jammu and Kashmir PSC will be conducted after the JKPSC interview round.

JKPSC Cut Off
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission publishes the minimum qualification mark as a cutoff on its official website. Every year a large number of candidates take the student JKPSC exam. Therefore, the cutoff is the minimum qualifying mark that allows students to appear for the next level.

The shortlisted candidates for the state administrative post of JKPSC have to pay Rs. 9400 / – and Rs. 34800 / – including basic salary will be included in the salary matrix of 7th pay commission and with Rs. 4800 / – will get grade pay.
In addition to the basic salary, candidates will be eligible to receive house rent allowance, expensive allowance, transportation allowance and other allowances every month.
