Bricks Project Project GDP of India at 10-10.5% per FY22

The Brickwork Ratings rating agency estimates India’s gross domestic product (GDP) at 10-10.5 percent in the current financial year, i.e. 2021-22 (FY22). Earlier this was estimated at 9 percent.

Brickwork Ratings is a registered SEBI for the Credit Bureau with headquarters in Bengaluru. Expect GDP growth for Q2 FY22 to 8.3 percent (annually), after a 7.4 percent reduction in Q2FY21. The country’s GDP grew by 20.1 percent in the first half of the 2022 fiscal year.

Manika Batra and Archana Kamath compete in the WTT Contender Table Tennis

In Table Tennis, two Indian athletes Manika Batra and Archana Girish Kamath won the women’s double at the WTT Contender in Lasko, Slovenia. The two Indians defeated Melanie Diaz’s Puerto Rican team and Adriana Diaz, 11-3, 11-8, 12-10 to win the title. Meanwhile, Manika Batra also won a bronze medal for women after Wang Yidi of China defeated him 2-4 (11-7, 7-11, 13-11, 10-12, 11-7, 11-5).

National Legal Services Day: 09 November

In India, November 9 is celebrated as the “National Legal Services Day” annually by all Legal Services Authorities, to commemorate the passing of the Legal Services Officials Act of 1987. UK unveils £ 5m commemorative coin to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi’s legacy

The Government of the United Kingdom (UK) has introduced a £ 5 coin to commemorate the life and legacy of Mahatma Gandhi. It is the first time that Mahatma Gandhi has been remembered for the official UK coin. Coins are available in a variety of sizes, including gold and silver. The special coin collector was designed by Heena Glover.

Rishi Sunak, Chancellor of the UK, has chosen the final coin design. The coin contains a picture of the lotus, the national flower of India, next to Gandhi’s most famous quotes – ‘My life is my message’.

TCS becomes Jaguar’s Formula E title partner

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has joined the British racing team Jaguar Racing as a champion partner, ahead of the 2021/22 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. The team will be known as Jaguar TCS Racing. TCS and Jaguar will build a flexible platform that will conduct research and innovation while focusing on advanced concept and electronic vehicle (EV) technology.

Bandhan Bank has named Zubeen Garg as Assam’s product ambassador

Bandhan Bank has announced the famous Assamese and Bollywood artist Zubeen Garg as the Bank’s brand ambassador for Assam. The organization is a landmark in Bandhan Bank as it is the first time that the Bank has partnered with a brand ambassador since its inception six years ago.

To mark the start of the movement, Zubeen has released his new music video featuring various aspects of Assamese culture and heritage. The song and video were produced free of charge by Bandhan Bank. Titled ‘Axom Amaar Mone Praane,’ the song is a wonderful mix of different types of traditional music from Assam.
